Camden County Green Party Meetup Group

The mission of the Camden County Green Party is to build a viable political alternative in the United States. The Green Party has a broad platform that includes environmental protection, labor rights, human rights and social justice. Local Green chapters around the country run candidates for public office in addition to working consistently between elections on issues of concern in our communities. The Green Party currently has over 226 elected officeholders in 28 states and Washington DC. The Camden County Green Party has been very active in the past year. We are taking an active leadership role in many areas, including the peace movement, environmental protection, working for a single-payer health insurance system and promoting democratic reform. This group is open to anyone who wants to learn more about the Green Party and to become active in reforming the social, politcal and environmental landscape in Camden County, NJ. Our meetings are on the 1st Thursday of every month at 7pm at the Collingswood Public Library (Haddon Ave & Frazer Ave). All are welcome to attend! Visit our website at: www.myspace.com/ccgr eenparty
